In light of all that God has done for us, giving up would mean to walk away from having God's best in your life. Our faith is the victory that overcomes the world!

"The Lord will sustain, refresh, and strengthen him on his bed of languishing;
all his bed You [O Lord] will turn, change, and transform in his illness." (Psalm 41:3 AMP) BE ENCOURAGED! > A Little Every Day
"Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it." (Luke 13:18-19) If you're going to grow in the kingdom of God, you're going to do it just like a seed that's been planted in the ground. How does a seed grow? All at once? No, it grows constantly-- 24 hours a day--a little all the time until it accomplishes what it was created to do. Many of us don't operate that way spiritually. We study and pray very hard for a few days and then quit. Then, when some disaster comes, we make a mad attempt to pray and stand on the Word, all the while realizing that, for some reason, we're just not as strong as we ought to be. There's no such thing as an overnight success in the kingdom of God! Real strength, real growth comes as you consistently and constantly keep the Word before your eyes, in your ears, and in the midst of your heart. Not just when you want to or when you feel like it, but constantly, like the seed, a little all the time. A man came up to me once and said, "Man, your ministry just took off overnight, didn't it?" "If it did," I answered, "it was certainly the longest night I ever spent in my life!" From his perspective my success did seem to spring up quickly. That's because he didn't see me during all those hours and weeks and months and years I spent in the Word of God. He didn't see the daily process that lay behind that success. He just saw the results. Make up your mind to begin that daily process of constant growth today. Determine to start putting the Word in your heart consistently. Every day a line here, a line there--a tape here, a tape there. Begin to act as though that Word is true every hour of the day regardless of what comes or how you feel. Keep adding to your faith, meditating on it, confessing it, seven days a week. Eventually, your faith will be bigger than you ever dreamed it could be. Kenneth Copeland KCM "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." (Psalm 28:7) BE ENCOURAGED! "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit." (Jeremiah 17:7–8)
Years ago, while I was on vacation with Wendy in the breathtaking Canadian Rockies, we spent time soaking in the splendor of our heavenly Father’s creation. As we wandered along the bank of a river, we stumbled upon a majestic tree anchored by the water’s edge. Its trunk was sturdy and strong, and its branches stretched out to form a perfect canopy above it. The tree was constantly nourished by the river and in contrast to the other trees that were further away from the river, its leaves were refreshingly green and luscious. Looking at that tree, I couldn’t help but recall the blessed man described in Jeremiah 17, and I remember saying to myself then, “I am like this tree in Jesus’ name!” Beloved, when you depend on and place your trust in Jesus instead of yourself, your qualifications, your looks or even your circumstances, you will be like this beautiful and majestic tree! Jesus will cause you to be a picture of robust STRENGTH, VITALITY and good SUCCESS. So keep looking to Jesus, and you will see His unceasing blessings in your life! Amen! Joseph Prince God loves you! He wants you well both spiritually AND physically! Be strengthened today in the Lord!
"The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the *strength* of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1) "Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall *strengthen* thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." (Psalm 27:14) BE ENCOURAGED! > Time to Get Serious
"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee.... I [will] remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches." (Psalm 63:1,6) If you're going to live in divine health, there are going to be times when you'll have to be downright extreme about the Word of God. Times when you may be facing a sickness so severe that you need more than just a few moments in the Word and a quick prayer to receive your healing. I want to tell you, in very practical terms, what I would do in a situation like that. The moment I woke up in the morning, before I did anything else, I'd take Communion. I'd say, "Lord, I dedicate my body all day today to the service of my Lord Jesus Christ. I take Jesus' pure blood shed for me." Then I'd put the devil in his place. I'd say, "I rebuke you, Satan. You're not going to put any sickness and disease on me today. Regardless of the symptoms, regardless of what my body thinks about it, by the power of Jesus through His Spirit, I have overcome this sickness because He that is within me is greater than he that is in the world." Then, all day long, I'd thank God for my healing. I'd choose some teaching tapes that would fill my mind and my spirit with the anointed Word of God, and I'd listen to them throughout the day. In the afternoon, I'd praise God and receive Communion again to remind myself that the blood of Jesus is in my veins, that I'm part of God's family. You don't have to wait until the second Sunday of each month or whatever to receive Communion. Jesus just said, "As often as you do this, do it in remembrance of Me." And if you're facing a serious attack of the devil, you need to remember Him all day and all night. You need to consider Jesus until thoughts of Him push the thoughts of that sickness right out of your mind. That night before bed I'd receive Communion again, then I'd praise myself to sleep. If I woke up in the night, I'd reach over and get my Bible and read all the healing scriptures and make the devil sorry he woke me. When the devil launches a serious attack against your body, don't mess around. Get serious about the Word. Put yourself under its constant care and it will take good care of you. Kenneth Copeland KCM Beloved, there are essentially two ways to live life. The first way is to depend on and trust entirely in the Lord’s unmerited favor, while the other way is to depend on your self-efforts to strive for success. You see, if you depend on your self-efforts, you will most likely end up stressed, with no quality time for your family, and even experience poor health. But God’s ways are higher. When you depend on Him, He will cause you to not only accomplish much, but be relaxed, have time to spend with your family, and experience divine health.
So beloved, I want to encourage you to choose God’s way. In all that you do, place your trust not in your good works, your efforts and your abilities, but in His unearned and undeserved favor that is upon you, and watch Him bring you to a place of good success that no amount of self-effort can ever bring!
