Hebrews 6:12 (Amplified Bible)
“In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.”
Genesis 39:2
“But the Lord was with Joseph, and he [though a slave] was a successful and prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.”
Joseph was sold into slavery, BUT the Lord was with Joseph and Joseph was a prosperous man. Even though you may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, Jesus is with you. Wherever you are right now, do the best you can for the Lord.
The Answer…
Genesis 39:4, 40:4
“So Joseph pleased [Potiphar] and found favor in his sight, and he served him.
And [his master] made him supervisor over his house and he put all that he had in his charge.”
And the captain of the guard put them in Joseph's charge, and he served them;
and they continued in custody for some time.”
Serving others might be the place where we need to be… to get where God wants us to be. Simply giving a glass of water to someone in need. Serve others. Give them an encouraging Word. Words are super powerful.
Proverbs 22:29
“Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business?
He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men.”
A great thing to do, is to read the book of Proverbs once a month. If you see a man that is diligent, he will stand before kings.
Hebrews 6:11
“But we do [strongly and earnestly] desire for each of you
to show the same diligence and sincerity [all the way through]
in realizing and enjoying the full assurance and development
of [your] hope until the end”
It takes work… diligence.
We need faith, patience, diligence to get to our dream that God has put in your heart. God will raise you up when you help others with their dream/purpose.
