What God is willing to do for you through somebody else because He loves you, He’s willing to do for somebody else THROUGH you because He loves them. And that’s just a matter of being awake and attentive,
‘God, who am I supposed to be a blessing to today?’
Not even leaving your house before you say,
‘Father, who would you bring me in contact with today?’
So, if this world is asleep, you and I should be awake. If this world He says is ‘drunk,’ then you and I should be sober. The ability to think straight. The ability to think the Word of God. What does the Word say about it?
Renewing our minds to the Word of God.
That word ‘renewing’ means renovation. That’s what has got to happen to the way you think.
You’ve got to rip out old ways of thinking.
You’ve got to rip out ways of thinking that said,
‘Oh, I’m so guilty. I’ve done so many things wrong and Missed so many ways, and God could
never, would never…’
Just RIP that way of thinking OUT of your mind and replace it with,
‘I AM the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. There’s nothing He hasn’t done for me. There’s
nothing He wouldn’t do for me, and there’s nothing He wouldn’t do through me.’
And you begin to build your life on the foundation of the Word of God. Change the way you think. And if this world is drunk, you are sober. You THINK the Word of God! Because when you THINK the Word of God, you SPEAK the Word of God. And when you SPEAK the Word of God, you walk the Word of God.
I don’t know if you have ever seen a drunk person or not, but if you have you know they are making decisions that are not in their right mind. They are SAYING things that tomorrow if they remembered them, they wish they hadn’t said today. And they can’t even walk straight. They’re all over the place. How miserable life would be if everyday you lived with the inability… you didn’t know if I’m supposed to be here or if I’m supposed to be there. And you walk this way a little bit and go, ‘Oh, that’s not right,’ and you go this way and go, ‘Oh, that’s not right.’ Walking like a drunk guy. You have no idea where you’re going.
There’s supposed to be a difference. The difference is: You see and know from the Spirit of God,
‘Here’s the step I want you to take.’
And what you do is get up from where you are and move right there. Then you STOP.
‘Okay Lord, where to next?’
And He gives you the next step.
