The healing of your entire life (body, soul, relationships) all has to do with what you SEE, what you HEAR, and what you UNDERSTAND.
In other words, the healing of your life has to with
WHO you see,
WHO you hear, and
WHO you understand.
The WHO is Jesus!
Healing will never take place without a revelation of who Jesus is. In Matthew 13:16–17, Jesus says,
“But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear;
for assuredly, I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired
to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.”
Why couldn’t they see Him? Their eyes were shut. They did not see what they just didn’t want to see. Hearts are dull. This is dangerous. These people do not hear Me because all the things going on around them. It’s possible to listen and listen, but the Word not take root in your life.
Are you DOING what He is saying to you? OR are you just listening? In James 1:22, he says,
“But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
He says don’t just be a hearer of the Word… be a DOER of the Word, because if you’re not doing the Word you’ve heard… you’re deceiving yourselves.
In Mark 6:4–6, it says,
“But Jesus said to them,
‘A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives and in his own house.’
Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.
And He marveled because of their unbelief.”
In Jesus’ own hometown, He could not do any mighty works. Why?
They didn’t honour Him, and did not see Him for WHO He is. Therefore, they could not receive from Him.
But if you see Him for WHO He is, then you WILL RECEIVE!
When you hear, how do you know it is real? By how your heart reacts (tenderness).
