“On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea.
And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat;
And the whole multitude stood on the shore.
Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying:
‘Behold, a sower went out to sow.”
“Behold” means to ‘look’. I’m going to show you something. God is a revealer.
In Colossians 1:27, it says,
“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory
of this mystery among the Gentiles:
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
This scripture will show what is the Will of God for you.
In Matthew 13:4-9, Jesus says,
“And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside;
and the birds came and devoured them.
Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth;
and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.
But when the sun was up they were scorched,
and because they had no root they withered away.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up
and choked them.
But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop;
some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
The Greek word for “some” is Allo. Some of the same kind of seed. He was planting the same kind of seed, but fell on different kind of ground. When the seed got planted on good ground, it yielded a crop. It produced fruit… results. It produced the results that were ALREADY in that seed. Every time you plant a seed… it’s so small, you hold it in the palm of your hand, but what you hold is inside that seed, is the ability to reproduce big, visible fruit. To produce a whole tree with fruit hanging off each branch, and all of that is inside one seed.
In Matthew 13:9, Jesus says,
“He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Jesus said you need to listen to this. But don’t just listen to the words; listen through the Words. Let this paint a picture. The Word of God, the ministry of Jesus… paints a beautiful picture on the inside of you where you can grasp it.
