All of God's promises that were made to others become ours by faith. They are made to measure promises, tailored to our needs. They are as much for you as if God personally had appeared and spoken to you, your only requirement is to put them on.
The Lord's question was, and is, "How long are ye slack to possess the land?" (Josh 18,3) Joshua said, "There remains much land to be possessed." (Josh 13,1) In fact, they didn't yet own one acre. The only land remaining to be possessed was what Joshua had made up his mind to have. It was theirs by faith.
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for." (Heb. 11,1) He had a vision, laid claim to it, and went ahead to get it.
Follow his example.
