In order to change what comes out of your mouth, you must change your heart. God governed the whole world with words!
In Hebrews 1:3 it says,
“who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person,
and upholding all things by the word of His power,
when He had by Himself purged our sins,
sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high”
This verse shows that God upholds all things by the WORD of His power. The same Word that got you a miracle, is the SAME Word that can HOLD it there! The Word takes/moves you forward. God expects you to do the same thing.
In your life and in your words are the power of life. You need to tell your memories/past/teachings to DIE. You need to tell your future/purpose to LIVE. Speak what you believe.
In Romans 8:28-29 it says,
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are the called according to His purpose.
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son,
that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
Everything that God sent, He will use it. Everything that evil sent, God will use it for good. If you love God, the intent of God will override the intent of evil. Your affliction is momentary. He will not let any affliction go to waste. Everything you go through is momentary, BUT has been building for glory for eternity. The battles you have been through, you can now TELL the cancer TO BE GONE! A greater glory is now on you…. FAITH!
We don’t look at what we see, but what we can’t see. God is commanding us to look at the things we CAN’T see. Don’t focus on the battle that is around you, but rather focus on that you can’t see. Look at what the Word says.
Walk on Faith. Focus on the Word that says, “Yes”. When you got saved, God said “Yes” to ALL His promises. We should accept, believe it.
When Peter stepped out of the boat, he stepped out on the WORD. The Word sustained him on the water.
God is able to uphold you by ONLY the Word.
When Peter saw the wind/waves (what he saw), he changed his focus. As long as he focused on what the Word said, he was sustained. Everything in the visible world told him he shouldn’t be able to walk on water. But he lost sight of the Word.
What are you looking at? The picture created by the Word of God is what is important. The things around us should not be looked at.
Sometimes it is hard to hold out that Word of healing, when you have so much pain.
Blessed are those that have NOT seen… but STILL BELIEVE IT!
