Every time Light comes, there’s excitement, there’s joy, because there’s life in it. With Light is life, and
life is quickening. So, if they looked up and for a moment they got excited and they thought, “God is real,’
and YET, if all their traditions and religion and junk (that has held that society for a generation) comes
into their mind, and they say to themselves,
>> “Yeah, but my parents can’t be wrong, and this temple and that religion can’t be wrong…”
And if you listen to that and begin reasoning with that, then you will put OUT the Light. And if you put out
the Light, then that joy goes away.
Romans 1:20
“For since the creation of the world His INVISIBLE attributes are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made,
even His eternal power and Godhead,
so that they are without excuse”
Even the “invisible” things of Him, from the Creation of the world, are “clearly seen, being understood by
the things that are made,” because when they know God.
He’s talking about people that DON’T SERVE God.
[Let’s take a look at this same verse, but using the New Living Translation.]
But He said, when they “know”, that they recognized that it was God.
Romans 1:20 (New Living Translation)
“For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky.
Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities –
his eternal power and divine nature.
So they have no excuse for NOT KNOWING God.”
The Scribes and the Pharisees:
At first glance, it appears to many people that the Scribes and the Pharisees didn’t believe in Jesus,
but YET the Scripture says they DID! Many of them did, but for fear of their peers (their leaders), they
would not confess it. In order to be that way, they had to reject LIGHT.
It’s not that they never saw. They saw it. There was a time when they saw it clear. And if they had
received it, the Lord would have led them into full salvation.
If you’ll keep walking in Light, He’ll just keep unfolding salvation.
That “Light” is the first step into the rest of their life into the plan of God. If they don’t take that step, they
are never going to find out the next and the next. And they won’t even get on the plan and the path God
has for them, that gets brighter and brighter.
And so, of course, the devil tries to snuff it out, tries to put the blinders on as early and as soon as
possible, because once you receive this Light, that God has given us, you will never go back.
Once you get “Light”, all the devils in hell can’t hold you back, because you’ve seen the “Light,” and
the Truth sets you FREE.
