The devil is subtle and very crafty. He knows if he comes through the front door that you will
catch it and won’t yield to it. But he knows, that a lot of us are hungry for God and for revelation
and for Light, and that we should be humble and teachable.
So, the devil tries to take that and twist it into a self-deprecating… we say, “I don’t know this,
or I don’t know that, and why is this, and how come that?” That’s negative, and it’s NOT Faith.
2 Corinthians 4:4
“Satan, who is the god of this world, has BLINDED the minds of those who don’t believe.
They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News.
They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ,
who is the exact likeness of God.”
The effect of darkness is blinding. When that Light of the Gospel comes in, all the devils in hell,
all the sin, all the curse cannot stop one person from being born again, being translated out of the
kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light, in God’s dear Son.
So, all the devil can do, is endeavor to KEEP people BLIND. That’s all the power he can exert.
If he can keep you blind, and keep you out of the Light, then he can:
Keep you in bondage.
Keep you in the curse.
Keep you out of the anointing.
Keep you out of the Blessing.
Some people will not look at the Word and will say, “That can’t be for us NOW.” But what they
really said was, “That can’t be true, because brother so and so said… and you know him. He
has a doctorate in such and such.” So, what have they done? They have chosen something else,
other than what the Word of God says.
If the Bible SAYS it, then it is true. If you don’t understand something, then go to God and ask
Him to show you what it means. Ask for Wisdom.
Choose God. Don’t choose because that’s what your church has always done, or that’s because
your Grandma did it a certain way.
You need to choose God’s Word over EVERYTHING else (including traditions of man).
Otherwise, it is death.
