There is strength and life in the Word of God. You have to talk in Faith, and WALK in the “Light”.
1 John 1:7
“But if we are living in the LIGHT, as God is in the LIGHT,
then we have fellowship with each other,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son,
cleanses us from all sin."
Walking in the “Light”, as He is in the Light and having fellowship with Him – that develops an atmosphere
of Faith and Healing.
And as it grows, what’s actually happening, is you’re making room for the presence of Jesus. You’re
making room for the Holy Ghost. You honour Him and as you honour Him, He will fill your place. God
is Light and in Him is no darkness.
1 John 1:5-7
“This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you:
God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness;
we are NOT PRACTICING the truth.
But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other,
and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.”
He comes in to fellowship with us.

Light is not just for seeing. Light is for WALKING in. We cannot just be hearers only, but we must be
DOERS. The saints are to be built up, so that they can DO the work of the ministry. So many
churches, the idea is that they come in and they hear and receive so that they can see, and then leave
and then come back and receive some more, so they can “see”.
And the Bible talks about people hearing and hearing and seeing and seeing, but NOT doing. And you
cannot develop fully by only hearing the Word.
There is Light you will not get, until you WALK in the Light that you have. You will not get additional
Light in areas, until you are a DOER of the Light. You can have the best books to read, conferences,
the best instructors/teachers/preachers, services, but until you actually get in and putting into
PRACTICE what you see and hear, you will NOT learn the bigger part of it.
So much of the “Light” will not come just by seeing and hearing. It’s going to come by DOING. As you
do it, as you put it into practice, the Lord begins to unfold it to you.
1 John 1:6
“So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God
but go on living in spiritual darkness;
we are not practicing the truth.”
If you’re saying that you’re fellowshipping with the “Light,” but you’re in darkness… well, now darkness
includes ignorance, confusion, complexity, complication. There are so many believers that are in a
quandry and they say, “Why is this like this? Why is it not like this? Why don’t we have this? Why
haven’t we been able to do this?” And again and again, you trace it back to “Light” they didn’t walk in.
And people require too much to act.
The Lord leads us by steps. He gives us enough Light, to take a step of Faith. And we don’t require
the next Light for the next step, until we take the step in the Light that we have.
And you see so many folks that are sitting back, and the Lord told them to DO something, but they
don’t understand WHY. And they say, “What’s going to happen next? And how am I going to get to
that after that?” This is a refusal to walk by Faith. And when YOU require the Lord to SHOW you more,
before you step out, this is a refusal to walk by Faith.
It is a refusal to walk in the “Light” that you have.
Abraham is a perfect example of this. God told him to leave his kinfolks, leave his home country, leave
and go out into a place that He would show him. And so the Bible said that Abraham went out, not
knowing where he was going.

All Abraham needed to know were 2 things:
1) He is in the wrong place and needs to move.
2) God said, “I’ll show you.”
That’s ALL Abraham needed to know.
