And some of you’ve got to learn how to open up THE Word and get YOUR Word, ‘cause I have never
been in a test where God didn’t give me A Word out of THE Word to overcome and subdue my enemies.
And the Word works EVERY time! Why? Because God watches over His Word to perform it and cannot
return unto Him void. But it must perform the purpose for which He has sent it.
Rhema = This is where Faith comes from. I got a road I want to go down but if I go down it I’ll never make
it back. All right, let me take this deeper…
Do you know what you are in the Earth?
You’re a Rhema. And until you connect with a church, you have no meaning.
I need [a] group of guys up here to show this. Let’s say [one of the men] he is the Word… formed.
That’s what he is – ‘formed.’ Okay, I’ve got ‘formed’ up here with me. What does that mean to you?
Absolutely nothing. Okay?
Throw up Ephesians 1:4: “just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should
be holy and without blame before Him in love”
That word ‘chose’ is the word, listen now, ‘eklegomai’ in the Greek.
‘Ek’ means ‘out of’.
‘Legomai’ is a form of Logos.
He chose you out of Word.
Your mom and daddy got together to give God’s Word a body. You didn’t come from the Smiths –
you came from Word, because in the beginning WAS THE WORD. And everything that has been made
was made by Him and there is nothing that was made that wasn’t made by Him the Bible said. So, the
Bible says, ‘God had a concept of you and in Spirit-form pulled you out of Himself.’ He just had a certain
time in the Earth in which He knew you’d be significant – so He let 2 people come together and form a body
for the real you to live in that He pulled out of Himself.
So, what is God?
God is the whole concept. He’s the Logos. So He pulled YOU out of Logos. Are you following me or am
I totally confusing you? He pulled you out of the Logos. So if God pulled A Word out of Himself…
you’re a Rhema.
Here’s the problem with Rhema. Rhema makes no sense when it stands alone. But if I take ‘formed’ and
put him in church, then I also get him with, ‘no weapon formed against you shall prosper.’ When I get A Word
with the rest of the words… See, that’s why people who TRY to get something done OUTSIDE the
Body of Christ, flounder around forever and never have meaning in their life.
Why?
Because YOU are just 1 Word out of THE Word and by yourself you make NO sense. But when I get
with you and I get with you, and when you get with me and when we get with each other and you get with
that row and that row, the Word starts to make sentences; the sentences make paragraphs, and the
paragraphs make pages and the pages make chapters and the chapters make a book. And all of a sudden
people can look at all of us and they can begin to get a concept of what God is really like.
It’s hard to just look at you by yourself and get it, but when I look at everything God’s done in everyone[‘s] life –
HE IS A GREAT BIG GOD!!!
