This Word, this Logos, I sit down and make it a part of my daily devotion. Why? So I can set my mind
on things above where Christ is; not on things on the earth.
So why I’m in the earth, I’m thinking on heavenly things and bringing heavenly things into the earth. That’s
what He wants to do. Pray this: ‘His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as in Heaven.’ So I’ve got to
be in earth but THINK like Heaven! Do you see what I’m talking about?
I’ve got to think about myself the way God thinks about me.
I can’t think about myself, about all of my experiences and the ways people treat me! I’ve got to think
about myself the way God thinks about me! Because as a man thinketh in his HEART so is He. A person
begins to become their thought process. I tell people all the time, ‘How did you get here?’ You thought
yourself all the way here.
So to change my IS, I’ve got to change my THINK. If I don’t like the way things IS, I’ve got to renew
my mind and think another way. The Bible says, ‘Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.’ The
word ‘transformed’ is ‘metamorphoo’ in the Greek where we get ‘metamorphosis,’ which is the process
of a caterpillar going to a butterfly.
In other words, the change in your life starts with you mind!
For your life to come out of one state and BLOSSOM into another state, it doesn’t start with what’s
around you; it starts [in your mind]. And if you can get the metamorphosis in your mind complete, then
your LIFE will take the same SHIFT that your mind is taking.
Wherever I want my life to go, my mind has to arrive there first.
