speak LIFE instead of death.
Okay? Now, Romans 10:9 says,
“that if you CONFESS with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart that God has raised
Him from the dead, you will BE saved.”
You believe it; you confess it; then you be it. You believe it. You confess it. Then you be it.
There is a protocol:
> You’ve got to start by believing what God said.
> Then, you’ve got to speak what God said. Not speak what you’re going through.
Speak what GOD said.
That’s why you feel stupid when you don’t have a quarter in your pocket and you’re saying that you’re
wealthy. Why? You’re not agreeing with your pocket; you’re agreeing with God. You don’t need another
person to agree with. Just agree with God. Because sometimes agreeing with God you can’t get nobody
to agree with you about what God said. So God said if you can’t get anyone else to agree with you, just
agree with Him! And say:
‘God, me and you agree together that you said, “Let the weak say I am strong. Let the poor say I am rich.” And though I look like I’m as broke as a hound dog on a porch, I know you have wealth in every mine and own the cattle
on a 1,000 hills and I declare today abundance over my life and that I am blessed!’
And the people looking at you are going to say, ‘Sure you are.’ That’s all right. Let them talk because the
promise is your goal; not their opinion. Your goal in life is not to change somebody’s opinion. Your goal is
the promise of God having a birthing place in the womb of your life.
Romans 10:14-18
[Israel Rejects the Gospel]
How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?”
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:
“Their sound has gone out to all the earth,
And their words to the ends of the world.”
Let me stop right there. Now, last week I told you the deficiencies of the English language is that the
English language is not very definitive. That what we have one word for in our language the Bible that was
translated from Greek, the people that were translating it had a difficult time because our language does
not define a thing the way the Greeks defined a thing. So sometimes when you hear a preacher get up here
and start going back to the Greek, that’s not the time for you to get bored and get a Tic Tac. What he’s
trying to do is get you beyond the deficiency of your language to see the original intent of God. Because the
Greek will show you what did God originally have in mind. Okay?
