> You and I should be marked by our boldness.
> You and I should be marked by our certainty.
Our certainty over the future. I know God and I know He’s good and I know in Him that my future is good. You can come to the place in your life where that boldness rises up in you bigger than the uncertainty that’s around you.
This is a relevant message to every person. This word about living bold in a time of uncertainty – it’s relevant to you and relevant to me. Let’s go to Joshua and see an example of the type of boldness I’m talking about.
Joshua 1:2-3
Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto
the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot
shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
What an outstanding promise of God! Every step you take according to the will of God in your life, that step you are standing in a place that God has given you and it belongs to you.
Joshua 1:4-5
From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of
the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast. There shall
not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of they life: as I was with Moses, so I will be
with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
‘days’ – I love that promise! He says NO MAN will be able to successfully keep you from My promise coming to pass in your life. That promise… that blessing is so huge. And if we would just grab a hold of it, boldness would rise up in the inside of us.
Joshua 1:6
Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land,
which I sware unto their fathers to give thee.
He said, ‘Be strong and of good courage.’ He said,
> Be strong.
> Be courageous.
> Be bold.
