The eyes are the window to the soul. We need to get that eye contact with the Lord. Sometimes we are only looking at the issue/sickness we are going through. But Jesus sees the whole perspective and what our end is. Once we look at it this way, we are more than conquerors… overcomers. Jesus has won the ultimate battle. The devil is defeated. When we look at this, we know we can do this. Just trust in God.
Walking With Blinders On…
In the book of Matthew, chapter 23, Jesus talks about those people walking with blinders on. He mostly got angry at the religions, hypocrite people. We need to take our blinders off… often times due to lack of knowledge.
Only Seeing One Side…
You are not alone in our problems. If the devil can think you’re alone, then he can pounce on you. Being around brethren lifts you up. There is MORE to the story. Sometimes we get in a “pit”, but that is NOT the end. When God starts giving you revelation of what He wants you to do, others will come against you, and sometimes this is your own family. We have to have trust to step out of our circumstance.
2 Kings 6:16 (New King James Version)
“So he answered,
‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’”
In this verse, it looked like the evil army was going to take over. You need to allow Jesus to OPEN your eyes – grasp it in the Spirit *first* what He is doing for you – and then you will see in the physical the manifestation. You cannot have constant fear. Seek the Lord. Once you trust and believe in Him, a PEACE will come over you.
The Lord is our Shepherd, but you MUST trust the Lord. Once you have that peace, it is very hard for the devil to pounce on you.
Ephesians 5:15-16
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
“Circumspect” --> Do not dwell on the past. This is a waste of time.
1 Peter 5:8
“Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.”
“Sober” --> Be always AWAKE in the Spirit. We need to read the Word of God. This changes are perspective. The more we know what the Word says, our perspective changes.
Ephesians 1:18
“the eyes of your understanding being enlightened;
that you may know what is the hope of His calling,
what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints”
The problem may be there, but when we take our eyes off ourself, you SEE the Cross. The Cross was ALWAYS there, but now you *SEE* It.
John 10:3-7
“and the sheep hear his voice:
and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them,
and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him:
for they know not the voice of strangers.
This parable spake Jesus unto them:
but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
I am the door of the sheep.”
Take time to HEAR from the Lord.
What Should We Understand?...
How much God loves you.
How important you are to Him.
How important God’s Word is to YOUR life.
How important YOUR Words are.
The WORD of God is LIFE unto you.
