Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him;
and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying,
Thou art Christ the Son of God.
And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
Luke 6:6-10
And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there
was a man whose right hand was withered. And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would
heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. But he knew their thoughts, and
said to the man which had the withered hand,
Rise up, and stand forth in the midst.
And he arose and stood forth.
Then said Jesus unto them,
I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil?
to save life, or to destroy it?
And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man,
Stretch forth thy hand.
And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

For the next 30 days, I will be posting Scriptures on healing. I feel a burden to post these on the Shield of Faith blog. You know, the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:8, 'But let us who are of the day be sober, putting ON the breastplate of faith and love, and AS a helmet the hope of salvation.' We need to constantly have a covering of His protection on us. We need to constantly stay in the Word and have faith. Therefore, we will be looking at the Scriptures on healing. You need to read these aloud for the Bible says, 'So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.'
Also, if you are not already, you need to be listening to these Scriptures. We have these available for you to listen online or you can get a copy to play in your car or when you're sleeping at night. For me, I listen to the Scriptures on healing while I am sleeping because your spirit-man never sleeps.
