When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had
heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude,
and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
Matthew 14:34-36
And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place
had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were
diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched
were made perfectly whole.
Matthew 15:29-31
And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain,
and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind,
dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that
the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and
the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for
them of my Father which is in heaven.

For the next 30 days, I will be posting Scriptures on healing. I feel a burden to post these on the Shield of Faith blog. You know, the Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:8, 'But let us who are of the day be sober, putting ON the breastplate of faith and love, and AS a helmet the hope of salvation.' We need to constantly have a covering of His protection on us. We need to constantly stay in the Word and have faith. Therefore, we will be looking at the Scriptures on healing. You need to read these aloud for the Bible says, 'So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.'
Also, if you are not already, you need to be listening to these Scriptures. We have these available for you to listen online or you can get a copy to play in your car or when you're sleeping at night. For me, I listen to the Scriptures on healing while I am sleeping because your spirit-man never sleeps.
