The Kingdom of God is within you. The Kingdom of Heaven is within you. We became a carrier of the
Holy Ghost Himself. We live with the living, breathing God of Heaven on the inside of me. So, the same
stuff in Heaven is now inside of me. So, God said, “whatever it is you need, I’ll give to you in SEED
form.” He doesn’t give you the OAK TREE. He gives you the seed, and tells you to work it, because the
tree is inside the acorn. The apple is in the apple seed. The power of the seed is in itself. All you got to
have is the seed, and you’ve got everything in it.
Mark 4:1-9 (The Parable of the Sower)
1 And again He began to teach by the sea. And a great multitude was gathered to Him,
so that He got into a boat and sat in it on the sea; and the whole multitude was on the land facing the sea.
2 Then He taught them many things by parables,
and said to them in His teaching:
3 “Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.
4 And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside;
and the birds of the air came and devoured it.
5 Some fell on stony ground, where it did not have much earth;
and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of earth.
6 But when the sun was up it was scorched,
and because it had no root it withered away.
7 And some seed fell among thorns; and the thorns grew up and choked it,
and it yielded no crop.
8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up,
increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
9 And He said to them, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
Now, folks, a lot of teachers will skip over theses verses to get to the main statement. The main statement
is not in the parable, but in the statement getting ready to INTRODUCE the parable. Listen to what
Jesus said right here:
Mark 4:10-13 (The Purpose of Parables)
10 But when He was alone, those around Him with the twelve
asked Him about the parable.
11 And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the MYSTERY
of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,
12 so that
‘ Seeing they may see and not perceive,
And hearing they may hear and not understand;
Lest they should turn,
And their sins be forgiven them.’”
13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable?
How then will you understand ALL the parables?
He said, “I’m going to let you in, and give you information on what, up ‘til this point, I have only been able
to access myself by being God.” He said, “I alone know how to run My Kingdom, but today, in your ears,
I’m going to give you access to privileged information, and I’m going to tell you how to make this thing I
run, work for you.”
Many teachers skip over this verse: Mark 4:13. Jesus said, “He is going to tell you how to operate the
land I live in,” and He said, “if you don’t get this, then take every other sermon you’ve heard and flush it
in the toilet. If you don’t get this, then nothing else you hear, will work.” And Jesus said, “it is the
MYSTERY of the Kingdom of God.”
Your miracle is going to come out of the Word of God. If you have none of this, then you have nothing to
have you prayer answered. Jesus said, “If you will abide in Me, I’ll abide in you.”
Why can you ask whatever in His Will, and it will be done? Because, if you have the Word in you, the
SEED to birth it, is already in the earth. You don’t have to pull it out of Heaven. The seed, for whatever
you’re asking God to do, already lies within you, IF you’ll just take your FAITH and work that seed!!!
The sower sows the WORD.
X The sower doesn’t sow opinion.
X The sower doesn’t sow traditions.
X The sower doesn’t sow what grandma used to say.
NONE of that is Word.
The sower sows the WORD.
X The sower does not sow what they’re going through.
X The sower does not sow the conditions of their life.
X The sower does not sow how bad it is, or how bad it hurts.
The sower sows the WORD.
If you’re sowing anything else, it has NO power to work on your behalf. The only thing that has power to
work out of your mouth, is the power of the WORD. If you’ll say the same thing God says, you can get
the same results God gets.
Mark 4:15-20
15 And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown.
When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word
that was sown in their hearts.
16 These likewise are the ones sown on stony ground who,
when they hear the word, immediately receive it with GLADNESS;
“Gladness” --> these are the people who are happy at church, and then lose it when they get home.
Mark 4:17
“and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time.
Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the word’s sake,
immediately they stumble.”
As soon as stress hits, they go back to what they know and leave the Word.
