you and it coming out of your mouth.
They called it years ago the ‘Word of Faith Movement’. The problem with much of this ‘Word of Faith
Movement’ (I learned a lot from them), the problem is they would do praise and worship for 6 minutes and
then they would teach for 2 hours. And you could have so much Word, you would have no Spirit in the
room, no life, no movement, no Holy Ghost.
You see, the Bible talks about the preaching of the Word, but it also talks about the ministry of the Word.
And you can have so much preaching of the Word, but you never minister it. You preach it all the time,
but you never give an alter call. You preach on salvation, but never do an alter call. You preach on healing,
but you never do an alter call for them to get healed. You see?
So, we try to strike a balance. I want you to leave with Word in you, but I also want you to have a praise
experience with God. I want you to have a worship experience with God. I want there to be a time where
sickness can be healed, needs can be met, praying, agreeing. I want all of these dynamics to be able to
take place. I want you to fellowship with someone before you leave.
All those dynamics are important and you can’t lean to heavily on one or the other because ALL of them
are apart of the Kingdom. But when you get to the Word, the Word is where I take invisible things that
ALREADY exist but in seed form. God will deposit something that is ALREADY mine into my life
and then I’ve got to begin to speak It.
When I begin to speak the Word, the Word moves from my mind down to my heart, because the soil for
Word is the heart of a man; not the mind of a man. You need to renew your mind, you need to renew
your thinking and God is always challenging your mind to MOVE your heart. God will
actually offend your mind to move your heart.
The Bible calls Jesus the ROCK of offense. Why? Because when you hear what He has to say, It’s
going to offend what you’ve already been taught. Okay? When you’ve been taught to be a taker and then
somebody comes up and says, ‘It’s more blessed to give,’ then what just happened? Your mind got
offended. What is God trying to do? Move your heart. So God will take revelation and offend your
mind so He can move your heart in a different direction. God is trying to get seed to the heart.
Now, when you want something to happen in your life, all you’ve got to do is let the SEED hit the soil.
> No gimmicks.
> No games.
> No hype.
> You don’t need a band.
> You don’t need me.
> You don’t need a program.
> You don’t need a ministry.
> You don’t even need another person.
The power of manifestation is when this seed [the Holy Bible] hits the soil. But it
doesn’t hit the soil after you hear a 30 minute sermon. It moves as you speak It. You are embedding it in
the soil of your life and then It is becoming a part of you.
So the key is:
I have got to get the Word of God in my heart, because with the heart man believeth and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.
