out of the seed. Your heart has the ability to take the Word of God and pull the manifestation out of it.
Okay? God put that potential in your heart.
The problem with soil is:
Soil does not create identity; seed does. The seed determines identity. Okay? Whatever gets dropped in
soil, it is soil’s job to produce. Soil has to be guarded, because it has such life producing potential. You ate
something today that kept you alive and it came from the soil of the earth, because the soil in the earth has
life-giving potential to your body.
Spiritually, your heart is the life-giving potential to your spiritual life. The problem with soil is it does not
care what you drop in it. It just produces what you drop in it. So here comes Solomon:
Proverbs 4:23
“Keep [guard] thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life."
Tomorrow’s existence is in my heart’s condition today. The condition of my heart today will determine the
quality of my life tomorrow. That’s why I’m always challenging you to keep your heart right. That’s why if
somebody offends you, you can’t wait for them to come back and fix you, because that offense planted
something in your heart. And if you don’t pull it out… QUICKLY… then your heart has the ability to start
pushing life out of it.
>Now all of a sudden you haven’t been offended… now all of a sudden you ARE offended.
>> Now all of a sudden you are living in offense.
>> Now all of a sudden you’re judging everything and what everybody says
and does out of that offense.
Because OUT of your HEART came your ISSUES. Because way back here YOU let all this
stuff get in YOUR garden and now it’s produced the life that you’re living. See, now I’ve just destroyed that…
‘The devil made me do it.’ Didn’t I?
‘The devil has wrecked my life. The devil has destroyed my life.’ '
Nah…Out of the HEART flow the issues of life!
Bad stuff gets in your heart...bad issues come up in your life.
The problem is:
I’m not in charge of everything that gets in my heart. There are other people I love, there are the people I’m
connected to and sometimes they’ll do things that will PLANT bad stuff in my heart. And see here is the
challenge of keeping your heart right: I’ve got to take care of the bad stuff I put in my heart and I’ve got
to take care of the bad stuff YOU put in my heart.
It’s not up to you to come back to me and clean my heart out. It’s up to me to say,
‘I will forgive. I will not hold that against him. I will not be offended.
I will operate in grace. I will forget and I will release.’
You see, you’ve got to take care of your garden whether it’s something YOU planted in it or something
somebody you care about planted in it.
