See, we know some people need to go and be out our lives but its some other people God removed and we’re shaking our head and we don’t understand that one. And we think,
‘I thought that one was a good one?’
It’s when God cuts the good stuff… Them are the hard ones. But here’s what I’ve learned: There are people that are healthy for you in one season. In Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 [it shows] your whole life is seasons. Your WHOLE life! Read Ecclesiastes 3. Your whole life is made up of seasons. The Bible says there is a time and purpose for everything. There was a purpose for them, but the time is up. There is a time for every purpose. They came for a purpose but the time ran out.
And so there are relationships that God Himself knows. He’s not talking about grapes and figs and vines. He’s talking about people because He knew the greatest hurt would not come from things; it would come from them.
So Jesus comes and says,
‘What was healthy in one season, once you transition seasons, can destroy you.’
Have you ever watched rocket ships or when they launched the space shuttle? And they got the big one down at the bottom and all it is is a huge thing of fuel and it gets you out of the earth’s atmosphere. Then it breaks off. And then there’s another one that gets you into space, then [it breaks off]. Now, the astronauts would have never got there…but once the purpose for that compartment had ENDED, if it stays attached would destroy the mission. So at certain times, NASA pre-programmed something to turn loose so that the purpose could keep going forward.
There is a God in Heaven that knew you needed this on this level and He has timed a breaking off – not so you would just lose somebody, so that the purpose of the mission would not be compromised. And the closer you get to the real purpose God has, you’ll find the circle of the spaceship smaller. It was huge on the ground level, but once it hit the moon, it was just one, little capsule left.
And some of you are saying,
‘I got less people around me that I’ve ever had.’
Well, that means you’re closer to your destination than you’ve ever been because when it comes to what God’s really called you to do, everybody can’t go with you. There will be a select few that will be in that capsule and they would have earned the right to take the trip.
Give God the glory! Trust Him on this.
