“WHY” (Series – Part 3): God is more acquainted with your TOMORROW than you are with your past.

Proverbs say,
     ‘Many are the plans of men but it is the purpose of the Lord that prevails.’

There is a higher purpose regarding your life that is greater than your bad decisions, greater than your 
sin, greater than your past, greater than your mistakes, and it will jerk you up out of your mistakes 
and keep pushing you toward God’s intended end. God’s plan will prevail no matter how bad your life 
looks right now!

So if God’s not waiting to see what’s going to happen to you tomorrow, your life is a picture. It’s 
painted on the canvas of Heaven and it’s finished. And your steps have been ordered by the Lord. 
He’s predestined your end, knowing you, justified you, called you, glorified you, finished, done...past 
tense. What is yet to be – has been to God. God is NOT in time; God is in eternity. He lives days 
you ain’t seen yet like it was His yesterday. He’s more acquainted with your tomorrow than you are 
[with] your past. If you get that concept it will change the way you approach God. Hallelujah!

So God looks at your life like a picture. The Bible says He chose you in Christ BEFORE the 
foundations of the world. So before God put you in here in the earth, you were created in Heaven. 
You came OUT of God. The word, “chose” is legami – the word logo is the verb form of logos which 
is “word”. God is the Word. In the beginning was the Word and everything that was made was made 
out of the Word.

So you didn’t come out of your mom and your dad. You came OUT of GOD! You were in Heaven, 
God reached in Him, and pulled you out and called it ‘Sarah, Betty, Carol, John, Larry, Joseph.’ God 
already had you in Heaven and painted on a canvas EXACTLY what your PURPOSE would be, 
what would bring Him pleasure, and why He would put you in the earth. THAT was when you were 
created, because the Hebrew word, “to create” means “to bring out of nothing.” 

THEN He MADE you. 
The word, “made” means “to take out of something that already exists.” And He took the clay and 
formed Adam out of it. So God created you in Heaven out of NOTHING. He put you in the earth and 
made you out of two people coming together. Those were 2 different events at 2 different times. Your 
life didn’t get started when the egg [got] fertilized [by] the sperm. Your life got started BEFORE the 
foundations of the world when God had an idea and put your name on it and then painted your life 
across the starscapes of Heaven.

So God takes a picture of your life and the first thing He does is He looks at it Himself. And He 
identifies and acquaints Himself with what He wants to happen and take place and do with your life 
while you’re here on earth. Have I confused any body or are you still with me? That’s where the 
Holy Spirit comes in. You don’t know what that plan is because the Bible says that that thing is ONLY 
revealed by the Holy Spirit. And so the Holy Spirit comes from eternity in TIME to show you WHY God 
in eternity what He put you here to do during  your time on earth. And the Bible says, 
     ‘You’re led by Him and you walk in Him and you listen to His voice.’ 

Why? 
Because He’s telling you WHY you are here! 

If you don’t know that Voice, you have no reason to get up tomorrow.
