Run Wide Open
> How do you want to end up your life’s race?
Run wide open until you’ve done all you have for God.
Just like the movie, CARS 2, you need:
> Right kind of fuel
o God can speak to you anywhere. We are just like that. We have to have the right fuel to run
this race. We need POWER! We need to read the Bible and pray.
> Well-tuned engine
o We need to be well tuned. We need holiness in us – pure in heart.
> Need oil
o We need the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We need that power to see, do, and take care of
whatever comes to us.
> Special tires
o We have to have the WHOLE armour of God: belt, shield of faith, breastplate, sword, etc.
In Hebrews chapter 12, verse 2 it says, “let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.” We have
to have endurance and not quit. The race of life is not for just ONE winner. We can ALL be winners. If
we endure, we will hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Door To Heaven Is Wide Open
Revelation 3:7-8 (NLT) (The Message to the Church in Philadelphia)
7 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia.
This is the message from the one who is holy and true,
the one who has the key of David.
What he opens, no one can close;
and what he closes, no one can open:
8 “I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close.
You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.
God has the door to Heaven wide open for the Philadelphia church. Just as with Noah's Ark, SOON He will
close the door. Today is the day SALVATION.
“…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4)
We need to run to the finish line so we will be alive and live in Heaven. God is EL ROI – the One who sees.
God is the Holy One.
